If you can't see color or hear well this movie might be for you.
I think everybody knows Charly Chaplin and maybe even Buster Keaton, but Harold Lloyd deserves more credit. He's so much fun to watch and his stunts are very cleverly thought. I don't want o spoil anything for those who haven't seen it. You can watch the full movie on YouTube.

I really admire people from like 100 years ago who really risked their lives a lot just to deserve all the money they earned and entertain people to distract them from their primitive insanity. It feels really sincere. Now movies are so fake. Seems ironic when being "fake" is the point, but what I mean is back then movies were made of what's real, now they are full of fakeness. They even use fake people who are actually not their anymore. They could have a significant entertainment value despite they lacked color and audio. Despite at the time they were prevented from harsh technological limitation they produced meaningful artworks, but now despite how easy to develop a movie they cannot make movies have that magic.

You can still find a lot of genuine movies made with pure passion and love if you go for auteur and independent films. Saw you say something similar about music and it's the same. Everywhere there's still a lot of great stuff being done if you know where or what to look for.

Thanks for the recommendation, Spike, I surely have to check a lot of stuff from the silent era

I'm not the biggest fan of silent films but this was still an interesting/fun watch for the stunts.
