Had seen Some on here mention this Game before. Maybe this could help Y'all greatly... Creating this Thread for those who like the game, or don't know about it and may be interested getting into it. This thread is also for talking about it, finding new people to play with. Helpful info, guides, tips, secrets, in-depths. Inspire others somehow. Could create Reviews or Articles from this. Just overall Runescape stuff for those on this Website, or when off it... If a Pay2Win or Free-2-Play, can still find ways to have fun for long periods. No matter if it is New or Old Runescape, both have their share of Good and Bad, with their own specific experiences. I say this because it is known that there are those who Highly Despise one or the other. Instead of that. It can be discussed, documented and helped to know why this is such. Especially from those who were there. What are the specific Pro & Con's? So not to cause any Confusion.

Possibly threads like this can help Strengthen this Community, support-wise and health-wise, with each other. Coming together in a healthy way, forming new Positive Relationships. Is the Must, now and days. Folk don't have that many People to begin with, and may be looking for at least some. It isn't healthy being constantly alone, or alone with just a Pet, for some people. So why not?

I remember this game, seen people played it before. It's quite entertaining seeing the interactions inside of the game

This is a great thread, I'm sure it'll help most people here that wanted to get started::bigboss

I've only played a bit of Runescape, (now called Old school Runescape of course).

Old School Runescape was a COVID hyperfixation. Base 80s now with a couple skill capes and i still love the game but i dont really have the time for it right now. maybe i'll get back on it now and do some raids

20k hours across 10+ accounts that i played since the 00s when i had crap internet as a teen and had no choice but to play certain games that didnt require much internet bandwidth, a combat update that totally changed the game from being unique to a WoW clone in 2013 was when i stopped playing as much, but i still kept playing a lot since then off and on through out the years, just grinded the 2024 christmas event actually for a straight month. but thats on the newer runescape game. on old school runescape (OSRS) its based on 2007 runescape but has a lot of content that wasnt in the original 2007 game, like a alt pathway. they both have things i like both about them. i loved rs3(newer runescape) dungeoneering skill because it was like its own dungeon crawling minigame inside of the runecape game that involved all the skills, it got a lot of hate at the time but i loved it and osrs doesnt have that for example, along with summoning, divination, invention, archeology, and now necromancy. OSRS was apparently suppose to get a new skill Sailing but i havnt looked much into it. i have about 4k hours on my osrs account, not maxed though, 1900 total base 70+ stats. havnt played it much at all, rs3 gets a lot of hate for the microtransaction crap which is understandable, but its still a great game. they changed the game so much that when i started a new account it was like playing a different game but it was enjoyable, they reworked some skills to balance them. i maxed on rs3 multiple times with new skills coming out but never comp'd or got quest cape(all quests done, which is a TON) was 10 quests away from quest cape on osrs though. and if you think questing is like some generic mmo bs task you're so wrong. some quests take hours of reading guides/watching video games lmfao. all in all, this game is a ride and if it wasnt for my douche junior high friend yelling it on the phone i wouldnt got hooked, and i got hacked by my own irlfriends the same ones that showed me it because i progressed the hell out of it because i was so hooked and they didnt grind like i did. hacked my account and stole all my gp and they stopped playing when i kept playing on another account starting fresh again.if they hacked my shit they could of at least used my shit to good use but yet they quit like lil scabs. gg

Love them game but kind of broke paying for it every month just like im to broke to pay for FF14 which I wish I could becuse I wanna finish the story of Stormblood.

But yeah I play Runescape when I can.

I played a lot of runescape back in the mid 00s. During COVID I got back into it and did F2P but did not want to pay for P2P. Last year, I got back into playing OSRS and I hop on every so often now. It's a good game, but there is just so much content that it can be overwhelming at times.
