Double hack, using BcnAbel76's GG2SMS conversion, I've created a Master System port. Included are three Roms, one for every design, Mega Man 1, Mega Man 8, and Mega Man 11. **NOTE** To press Start (Main Menu/Pause Menu) you need to press DOWN on Controller 2. You can just play the GG version, using GenesisPlus GX you can even enable extend view area hack to get more screen withought needing the SMS conversion, getting the best of both words.

However, if you rather use the SMS version I suggest to avoid GenesisPlus GX as it seems to have a glitch with these GG2SMS conversions that use the second controller, only P1 works, you can use any other SMS core and then set controller 1 to "Player 2".

Thank you! Yes I just tried gear system emulator and that one worked. But GenesisPlus GX didn't start. And I had no idea there was a hack for game gear to extend screen. Also I thought at the most there were only a couple gg2sms conversions. I looked them up and was blown away that there were so many! I remember when I first saw the commercial for game gear. I could not believe it had color on a portable system. (Yes I'm ancient.)

Alright you guys convinced me, I'm going to work at it. I haven't figured it out yet, but i will. I already tried this on game gear anyway and its good in my opinion.

...All you have to do is go into the controller settings and choose 2nd controller. It's not that big of a deal.

Are there any other good conversions? Most I've tried have had that issue along the edge of the screen

Sonic Triple Trouble and Tails Adventures had the extra polish you seek, also Sonic 1 GG2SMS if I recall.

I really do wish that the rest of these GG2SMS conversions on SMS Power would get updated in a similar fashion as the "Tails Adventure" patch did. 90% of them are still unfinished to this day.

Are there any other good conversions? Most I've tried have had that issue along the edge of the screen

Looks promising. I LOVE Megaman games, so Roll-chan is also up there too. But seeing a port to a more anemic system kinda warms my cookie-crumble-coated heart.

Despite being a port based on the Game Gear version, this one at least tries to resemble the Roll-Chan games of the Famicom/NES Version although the resolution is 256x192 (248 if you ignore the left black bar on the Screen) instead of 160x144 in the Game Gear version.
