That dragon wasn't too bad for me: good edged weapon chain with the two dark affinity gems to the head took him down for me, might have killed me once, don't remember. What messed with me was the spellcasters with their high chain evade, especially this asshole that just floats around [ATTACH type="full" width="559px"]96289[/ATTACH] because now I see why the guide I used recommended a good staff because chasing them down/chaining is annoying. It's better to fire off an aoe spell and one/two shot them based on their affinity. But my strategy the whole game was to beat the shit out of things (I threw away the staffs). Radial surge was the only way I killed the dark spellcaster, thankfully the light affinity on my dagger was enough to get good damage through (otherwise I think I would have been screwed); needed to keep refilling mp, but got there.
