RetroAchievements Mastery Collective

I've had a Retroachivements account for ages now, but only had a handful of achievements on it. After seeing this thread, I'm going to make an effort to 100% some of my favorites. Aria of Sorrow looks to be about what I expected, although there are a few you have to do on the secret modes which I haven't done before. Sonic Adventure 2 likewise is fairly similar to the Steam achievements, although there's a lot of "find all the animal" achievements (not terribly interesting, but not difficult) and "beat every boss without getting hit" (going to be a massive pain).
Let's gooo I wish you good luck :)

Same, I'll try to get achievements for Ridge Racer 4 and MGS VR, good challenging games to have fun and I can run them in anything at this point, so it's gonna be fun to get those retro achievements while I'm out of home::beer

Curiously the only games I have achievements for in my account are those two and they date to 2022... I don't even remember that ::lol

Has anyone had ever had any success with reporting achievements that go against the 'unwelcome concepts' guideline to this site? Feels like you're just shouting into the void, and there's so many of them.

I decided to play the GBA Lego Star Wars game to get my first 100% achievement list, since it looked very simple and I played the game a lot as a kid. Unfortunately, something glitched out and I didn't earn the very last achievement.... I put in a report several days ago, but nothing, so that's quite a bummer.

Just wanted to flex my Resident Evil 2 mastery on here. I started this one ages ago when I first joined RA so the time spent playing is way off.

Some highlights were killing all the bosses with just a knife, all boss kills without taking damage, and A-ranking both scenarios without saving.

The set also has a 'pacifist' run where you can't kill any zombies. That one was really interesting to do. I love achievements that force me to play in ways I never would've otherwise.

The hardest achievement for me (by far) was getting the best rank on the 4th Survivor scenario.

(Also mastered Shadowgate 64 this week)

I managed to platinum Donkey Kong 1, but I lost the account. I'll see if I can platinum it on my current account, apart from the fact that I'm lazy.

Mastered Killer7 for gamecube last week.

Such a cool game. Younger me had this game on PS2 back in the day but it never really clicked with me. So happy I gave this gem another try.

Almost inside the top 2% on the leaderboards as well!

i think i have found a game that i would get every achievements.

i am going to revive this thread because yes

I have over 20 masteries on Retroachievements, mostly hacks or short games because this website sometimes can get really masochist with some challenges.

Like some achievements require you to force a glitch to happen and do a credits warp, or straight up almost do a TAS.

I saw a chance to flex my RA progress and couldn't resist. Hit my 49th mastery last week.

When I first joined the website I was casual AF, wouldnt play anything without savestates/rewind and complained about any difficult challenge. Over the past few years RA totally changed my perspective on gaming. I love doing difficult challenges now and am honestly addicted to the grind. The harder the challenge the better it feels when I finally conquer it.
