Anyone into it and or got any cool ones? I have some sonic ones, dragon quest 9, metal slug and sega stuff etc I really like the authentic stuff from when the games came out. Here are some of my coolest ones in my opinion. Would love to know if anyone has those cool sega staff jackets or sega saturn related stuff.

I don't own any official shirts, but everytime I try to find official VG clothes on eBay their always to expensive for my taste. Even if I did buy them I wouldn't wear them because of how valuable they are or could be. I like streetwear so i'm no stranger to buying overpriced shirts/pants/hoodies/shoes. But clothes only last for so long without any accidents. Plus fans always make great designs, so tend to buy from the people when I can.

The secret is buying them in bulk from japan, I never pay more than 30 for em most of the time, I did spent 200 but that was on 10 different ones in the sealed packets from 1996 so I didn't mind in that instance. I really am looking forward to the nights into dreams one. The price of stuff from japan has gone down a lot when you use a proxy, but the way the bidding system on buyee is so annoying. It adds another five mins on with every bid placed.

I wouldnt be opposed to getting a fan made thing either tbf, but all the ones I liked were mega money and im good at getting cheap stuff from japan.

I threw out most of my video game shirts because I had a phase where I felt really embarrassed to wear them, and I lost a lot of weight so they became gigantic.
One of the ones I've kept is a shirt with a "Balrog's Gym" motif on it, and it was really nicely done because it just looked like a logo for an old-school boxing gym. Can't find it right now though, and it doesn't seem to be available on etsy anymore.

In general I'd rather have slightly subtle motifs or icons that are more of a "if you know you know" kinda deal, rather than just full-blown logos or box art.

I can't imagine myself wearing videogame-themed clothing without feeling like a total jackass.
Knitting you a beanie shaped like Bass' helmet as we speak.

I'm hard pressed to wear my dorkery, but if it's clever, I might.

I don't have any pics on me, but I've had a few Castlevania promo tees, a Resident Evil 4 shirt I found at Goodwill, and a Zelda GBC Oracles promo shirt. Also, an XBox Poptart hat, also found at Goodwill.

If it counts, I used to have a Japanese PlayStation logo shirt.

the subtle stuff that's legit tends to go for way more money lol, like thousands. That is why you don't see it as much. I too would prefer more subtle stuff, but I also do really like the vibes of the graphics and the logos so either or for me. I really don't like modern ones with some exceptions.

I used to own a couple of Sonic ones as a younger lad.

Boy did I look cool.

I would change my whole personality if someone made fun of something I like. They'd be like "Ha, you like video games" then I would play with rocks and sticks, perpetually changing depending on the insult.

This also a bit of research to see the types that are dropping 500 on a sonic shirt for my *cough* research.

I HAVE A SONIC AND KNUCKLES LOGO SHIRT TOO! It's this one from Hot Topic. (Oh, don't give me that look.)

Yeah, that kind of looks like absolute shit, but I still like the artwork. I also have a yellow Sonic shirt with his modern "shrugging" artwork and the Japanese logo for the Sonic brand beneath it, a white shirt with Sonic 2 (the game) JP promo art featuring Sonic and Tails on the Tornado, and this Super Mario All-Stars shirt my sister gave me for Christmas one year:

I'm 99% sure she was making fun of me with that. Also, it's neither here nor there, but I have this FLCL t-shirt from Hot Topic (SHUT UP!!!! I'M NOT TALKING TO YOU ANYMORE!!!!!), as well:

I should have bought one of the black ones with white graphics on it, but I was limited to what the store had, because I went there at like 9:00AM when it opened while on vacation in Las Vegas. It's kind of shrunk in the wash over the years. Me and the clerk working the register had a very pleasant discussion about FLCL while I was buying this. Then, immediately after I left the line, she had to check out a mom with a bunch of little girls who were buying pink pony stuff. I looked back at the clerk's face, and saw that she wanted death.

I wouldn't be caught dead in public wearing any of this nonsense – if I ever was, I'd have to leap into the nearest wood chipper – but they're nice shirts to wear when I'm at home, alone, and it's the dead of night, so no one can ever know what a dork I am.

the flcl one isnt bad, i need to finish watching that show. I find it interesting peoples takes. I too also really like the sonic and knuckles logo. its hard to choose which og sonic is the best game. I'm very extroverted so I like everyone to know what weird shit I'm into lol.

Unironically rocked the fit when I was 14-15. Friends still give me shit for it, but idc I haven't worn it in ages but I stand by it. Zelda shirt and cargo pants is a fire fit.

Looks like we got the same idea. Sadly even their XL size is too small for me, I have to look for one that's called free size and it's pretty uncommon.

When I was a youngin' back in the 90s I had a Sonic the Hedgehog shirt. oh and an official Sega Dreamcast shirt they gave me on pre-order day of 9/9/99 although it was XXL and remember swimming in it.

Present day I own a few retro video game shirts- SNK NEOGEO start-up screen, TurboGrafx-16 and multitap, NEC PC Engine logo, 3DO Interactive Multiplayer logo. and a Vega vs. Balrog Street Fighter shirt.

When I was in elementary school i had black sonic the hedgehog sneakers that had a button that made sound effects from the game. I would press the button when the teacher was talking and no one ever found out it was me. I tried finding proof of their existence online but with no luck because all I can find with an internet search is the red/white shoes sonic wears.

I would never put this on becauseof how horrible it is. But the energy that this fit gives off is unmatched and that's why I love it.
