Cartoons Remember My Gym Partner's A Monkey?

This was one of those shows I could only ever watch as an adult because it was simply never on when I was a kid -- Cartoon Network botched its release so badly over here that I can honestly only recall watching one or two episodes on actual television.

But I loved it so much that I went through the entire thing a decade or so ago.

The humor is great, there's a lot of fourth-wall-breaking and there's a joke with a four-season-long payoff that's just incredible.

Really fun show, man.

I thought it was alright, the humor ranged from brilliant to asinine which is just how I like it, didn't watch it much since it always had a weird programming schedule.

I remember watching it when I couldn't sleep as a kid/teen. I'm pretty sure I caught re-runs at like 1 or 2am? I think I liked it fine?

You just unlocked a memory i hadn't thought about in years. As a kid I loved the little bespectacled armadillo guy whose running gag was that people would frequently tell him "no offense" and he'd say "none taken".
I remember this one kid in school said "no offense" one time and I said "none taken" and the kid looked at me dead in the eye, completely humourless and disgusted and said "you stole that from My Gym Partner is a Monkey" and left, presumably to alert the show's lawyers.
Copyright knight over here didn't know what a "reference" is.
