What's going on in your gaming world? Find a glitch? Discovered a new trick in a game you want to share? Just post anything about your recent gaming modern or retro.

Myself I'm playing Star Ocean The Second Story R. I have over a 117 hours of play so far. Many of those hours grinding and fishing. lol

I played through A Game About Digging A Hole recently, it lasts just long enough to where my interest started fading and then it was over, so that was just about right.
I quit Fallout 76 about a month ago after sinking a little over 700 hours into it. I don't know if I liked it, but I do know that it filled the period of time where I had a *lot* of time to kill, really well.

I finished Akimbot yesterday.
I've been slowly making my way through Ninja Gaiden Black, and have been working on finding the last ticket I need in Retrorealm Ash Vs Evil Dead/Halloween (I CANNOT FIND THE DAMN THING ANYWHERE).

I got screwed by RNGesus on Deep Rock Galactic for the first time less than a hour ago.

I had a mission where I was supposed to extract space oil liquid Morkite, and the first two holes to grab it were on ground level of the cave I was sent to. I spent like 40 minutes trying to find the third and final Morkite spot, getting swarmed with little to no resources to resupply with. When I finally found the spout, it was near the top of the map. I'm lucky I like using the platform gun as Engineer, my main class, but I had to mine my stupid dwarf down to the refinery contraption for a few minutes. And got swarmed during the time.

And when I got back to the refiner thing? I couldn't find the stupid hole I dug to get back! By the time I got swarmed again, I aborted mission. Bear in mind I was playing solo, could've picked a Driller character to make hole-digging much less tedious, and I gave up after the hour-and-a-half mark. Also I got defeated on the prior mission too, so I'm pretty salty at the game right now.

Karl can eat my tailfeathers.

Been playing Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, about to start Master Ninja mode. I've also been playing Doom Wads and taking notes.

If you haven't checked it out yet, check out the Doom full conversion called Golden Souls 2. It's like someone put Super Mario and Doom in a blender, and I love every second of it!

I have! I really loved it and the first one!

Well I was messing around a bit in Pokémon Scarlet in the Terarium in Blueberry Academy after getting that Scarlet Book Rotom Phone Case from the code that was just released today: SB00KC0VER

Finished grinding a Shiny Shellder to Level 100 when I found and successfully caught a full odds (with Shiny Charm) Shiny Female Pyroar.

So yeah.

I got Trepang2 on Steam, and it's great! It's basically a new FEAR game and I'm in love. You can drop kick a guy, launching your into the air, go into bullet time and pop 2 guys in the head in the span of 3 seconds!

finished the legend of dragoon yesterday, we will get a remake of this game someday, right?
Probably. I'm a bit skeptical, though. Not sure if Sony really could capture that whole "lightning in a bottle" sensation that made it such a special game, to begin with. But it'd be nice to see the franchise getting some love, after all these years.

I just started getting into the SaGa series after burning myself out on Dragon Quest games after playing three of them in a row. I started Romancing SaGa 3, Romancing SaGa Minstrel Song and SaGa Frontier. I'm playing on mobile and I just couldn't handle the controls in SaGa Frontier so I dropped it pretty quickly. I got a little bit of the way into Albert's story in MS after restarting when I went with Gray the first time and got totally confused by the field skill system. I decided maybe RS3 was a better place to start because the systems are a bit more simple

I started with Thomas in Romancing SaGa 3 and got a few hours into it and started getting bored and frustrated until I figured one of the mini games, stopped being afraid of buying new items and started finding actual dungeons with treasure then I was hooked. The combat, party building and leveling system is really fun. If you've ever played Final Fantasy 2, it's similar, but all the problems have been fixed and the system's better in every way. The guy that made FF2 went on to make the SaGa series.

The exploration's a bit weird at first until you get used to it. I couldn't really understand why stuff kept happening and ending abruptly but it never felt like I was getting anywhere or even getting anything for the stuff I was doing and everything felt vague and disjointed. But, the more places you go and stuff you do the more things begin to come together and you start to get a picture of the world, the people in it and the background behind things and you start to realize why all that stuff you did before happened and it's a cool feeling when everything suddenly clicks and then you're suddenly excited to see what you can find next.

I'm definitely going to go back and play Minstrel Song and probably Romancing SaGa 2 when I finish. I also picked up SaGa Scarlet Grace and gave it a try but I'm not sure how I feel about it so far. I like the updates to the combat system but it feels like the game is entirely focused on combat and not much else. It does have a beat storybook aesthetic going on but it's also done in a more visual novel style which i'm not really the biggest fan of.
