Ooh dang, this blew up! Here goes...
Son of a...! I forgot to answer this! I had, actually, once upon a time. And then recently, as of a couple months ago. Both are vixens.
As a preteen: Krystal from Star Fox Adventures (thanks Nintendo Power)...
...and as of a couple months, Ninjara from the Archie Ninja Turtles comics, the fuzzball on the upper-left (thanks Shredder Is Butthurt).
See, I don't really see the Raziya persona as well, me. She's my main OC, but she's not like... me. Even if she's an exaggeration of who I used to be, and in some ways a better person than I could ever be now. I don't like people mixing me with my character, and it helps that I want to do stuff with this character for all to see. Something, anything really. A series of novellas is top on my list, hard and lengthy as it is to finish even one (though I finally finished the first draft of one a couple weeks ago).
Mara... Mara is the name I'd like to have some day. One of my first posts here elaborates on the meaning behind the username. To try and tl;dr? In the Bible, Naomi changed her name to Mara "for the Lord had dealt bitterly with me", and there is an implication of strength in the name. Firebrand means more than a piece of burning wood too -- a person who is a passionate asshole over something. A zealot.
Let me be clear. I am not as good a person as I come off here. There's a lot of baggage over how much of an asshole I'd been for years across the internet, even recently, using the Raziya username. I've got a lot of baggage myself, and it'd help if I could actually had and could handle real problems. So, I hesitated on using Raziya. But with everyone being chill and nice and fun here, making me not hate people so damn much for once in a long time? I wanted to soften my image a bit. Let alone make it clear that I don't want to be an asshole, an affable one or not, and that any time I am it's a) bullying bullies or usually b) me just joking around, and not actually meaning anything by it.
I don't want to make the same mistakes I've been making for the haunted couple years I've had. For all the bullshit I've suffered this past gods-forsaken decade. And made other people suffer for.
...ahem. Also my DeviantArt page is currently MaraFirebrand, but I'm probs changing it back to RaziyaTheSeeker when I can do it again in May.
...of course, Khajiit from The Elder Scrolls are a given, and the whole damn Elsweyr expansion in TES: Online was a welcome surprise. Gnolls are also top-notch, and I adore them just like an old drow-obsessed buddy of mine did with drow. I'm not mad with WotCazi that off all the monstrous humanoids in 5e, you can't play them first-party. You can't hate that which has no soul.
Kitsune are also a basic bitch answer, but hey. ;3
...aaaaand I've just explained all the non-humans' inspirations in my homebrew fantasy setting. :p
2) No worries to me! I've liked anthropomorphic animals for a long time. Calvin & Hobbes was ground zero with Hobbes. One of the very first OCs I'd ever made was named Bow Nortellini, who was a white tigress. As I grew older, I changed her name to Belle Northwood (no relation to the false flag operation, which was ironic when I played her in a noir D&D game).
Of course, other anthro media certainly helped. I mentioned a few in Lee__Kanker's one reply.
So, when did I find out I was a furry furry, and not just someone who liked animal-people? Well, helped my self-insert in a long-defunct webcomic of mine from my preteens was a recolored Tails. Helped even more when I made my first fursona on Furcadia in the day: Frioneal Dascamus, a wolf. Then I had a tigress named Jori, and then for a while my avatar character Raziya (and back when she was named Rachel too). Currently my fursona is the ashen phoenix Mara, as I mentioned, but I have yet to draw her as a fursona at all. Mostly just an eldritch abomination.
So I'll beat around the bush with the exact "oh shit, I'm a furry" moment. Puberty hitting, and me finding out I was bisexual, thanks to a smutty YTMND with a yiffy GIF. Trying not to get explicit, but... the internet, especially in the age of doxxing, isn't nearly as big as one may think.
3) Since I was little, taking art classes in school. As for how? I... have no idea. Mostly I draw the stuff that no one else would do for me. It's mostly a necessity thing, and these days I usually only draw something like once a month. I don't feel like I have a good answer, so lemme give one an old friend once gave me. You've got to trust that you'll come back to it someday.
And also, Ever had a crush on a fictional character?

What's good, Gorsey? Least fave? Probably Pocahontas, and not because of Native American / Amerindian / Haudenosaunee / whatever controversy. Mainly because at least half the movie felt like a big nothingburger of an animated film. Like, nothing engaging happened in like half the film. A huge contrast to other Disney Renaissance loves like my holy trinity: Lion King, Aladdin and Hercules. Hell, even Snow White went somewhere most of the time! Same with the direct-to-video sequel for Poca!HEY RAZIYA!!!!!! What's your least favourite Disney movie, and why?
Eyyyy CJ. In order of asking:Favorite game, anime, cartoon, film, tv show?
- Game: A tough one indeed, there's too many to count. I did answer my top five earlier but gun-to-my-head, #1 would either be Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin or Symphony of the Night. And my knee-jerk answer would be Symphony. I've just played it to death is all.
- Anime: Yu Yu Hakusho, the best shounen.
- Cartoon: Dexter's Laboratory. It aged like a fine wine to me.
- Film: Mortal Kombat (1995 one, not the "all style no substance" one from 2021). What can I say, I like popcorn flicks.
- TV Show: Probably a tie between NCIS and Burn Notice. I haven't seen either since the aughts.
No no, it's good you ask. This might be silly, but what happened to "MaraFirebrand"? Can you elaborate?

1) Dwarves, especially in Warhammer Fantasy, are fun for me. Gotrek Gurnisson is high on my list of badass dwarves. And I take a personal meaning in half-elves as someone with Aspergers / high-functioning autism. I'm too weird with the normies ("humans"), but too normal for the other "weirdos" who are more autistic than me ("elves").1 - Are there any favorite non-human races in games?
2 - When did you figure out you're a furry? (sensitive, you can skip if you want)
3 - For how long have you been drawing? And how do you keep that passion going?
