Rambo for MSX is an adventure game that plays very similar to Legend of Zelda though it actually predates it by a year. I had fond memories with this title as a kid, though nowadays I can't get very far, I have no idea how I beat it, it's kinda hard and cryptic.

While I'm not familair with this one, I am familair with Super Rambo Special which Is also on the MSX.

Best way I can describe SRS: What If you wanted to mash Zelda I and Metal gear together with Rambo thrown In. Does It have compotent design? Start the game > go to next screen > Instantly asploded to pices because of an Invsibile mine right where you enter > hopes burninated quickly.

Finally ! Vietnamese Minesweeper !
Getting the virtual PTSD how it is meant to be happen .

I love the smell of Napalm in the morning . ::bigboss

This was a pretty popular msx game back in the day. I mean, it was hard to find someone with an msx, but when you did, they usually had this game. If its really good or not, this i wont remember (it was 16 kids looking at a 12´ screen, do you think i got to play it?)

About the story, if it follows any movie, games in that time had a hard time having any story at all. Dont think about it too much.

Wow, its cover says it's a "real-time role-playing game" and the HUD indicates you gotta collect food to survive. I don't remember its movies having any situation that our Super American Rambo ever needing even food lol. Well they could just develop a simple pew pew action game but they wanted to do something more. It may not be like the movies but you gotta appreciate that they wanted to develop one of the first example of a pew pew action game with survival elements lol.

I've never watched the movies but I believe this game is actually a retelling of the movie, at least I was always under the impression that it is, often referred to as Rambo 3 here, similar to the Mega Drive game, the objective here is to rescue the hostage and take the chopper and fly away, though you first need to take down every single rocket canon in the map or else you will get the bad ending and they will shoot the chopper, is this based on any of the movies?
Thank you very much for the information Juiceala 👍🏻.

I haven't played this version but I don't miss so much because it's barely related to Sylvester Stallone's First or Second Rambo Movie.
