PS2 Question about MLB2K10

This makes me feel SO dumb...

I recently discovered that MLB2K10 on PS2 has a cheat code menu in which you can manually input stuff, but I have never found a single code online? Like, at all.

Someone suggested that maybe they were unlockables but:

A) I have already unlocked everything.

And...

B) The game clearly, unmistakably wants you to type your own stuff in there.

Is this something they never actually programmed into the game or something, like a leftover menu they forgot to hide? I feel like I'm going nuts (or that I stepped right back into 2005 Terra searches lol).

IDK about the game so my logic talking: Sport games tend to be copy-paste. Meaning their game menu probably exact copy from previous games. So a previous game may have this feature actually useful but in this game it may be just a leftover junk menu or something. IDK perhaps if there are codes for previous game you may enter it. Or it's an abandoned feature not fully implemented or it was just a leftoever debugger-style way to test the game. Perhaps cheats via that menu was intended but then they changed their mind or something. Well this was my two cents to contribute a theory for this X-Files lol.

In the "My Cheats Menu", there's a cheat called "Smart Choice" that enables Big Head Mode.
Enter in "Black Sox" to unlock the cheat. A reference to the Black Sox Scandal.

"Black Sox" was also the only cheat you could enter in 2k9.
