Question about Grandia (ReDux).

Hello. I like to start the Grandia PSX game with the Redux patch. Since it's a long game, has anyone tried it and could tell me if there are any bugs I should be aware of?
I read in comments about black screen issues; is this true? Thanks.

I played all the way to disc 2 on epsxe on my android long ago and didn't have no black screen issues but I quiet when the enemies started becoming bullshit.
