Sorry for the lateness but I pretty much like everything but racing games. been on a big RPG kick recently though (and I still do get sucked up in racing games occasionally)
LOVE Crisis Core, and the old phantasy games on sega too. but it's a good reminder. Downloading these next! (Dissidia was a FF game too right? felt like I've played it)

Believe it or not but I used to beat Manhunt over and over on PSP all the time. Kinda got obsessed with both the games for a bit. I know inklings about the other games (Besides YS7 and FFT0)

I'm a fan of The 3rd Birthday. Yes, than can be a divisive opinion, but I think it's a great action game (gameplay-wise) with fantastic visuals and a killer soundtrack. Do yourself a favor and tune out the plotline, though...
You also have the various Metal Gear games, particularly Peace Walker and Portable Ops.
Crisis Core and Dissidia are fantastic picks, as well! And do be sure to check out the Type-0 fan translation. I find that to be a criminally underrated game.
The two Silent Hills aren't so bad, either. I prefer Zero / Origins, though Shattered Memories has a lot of fans.
I know you said you don't like racing games all that much, but I would recommend the two WipeOut titles, particularly Pulse. I think there's a mod in the Repo that combines both games into one. Worth it for the soundtrack alone!
And don't forget about the PS1 functionality! The eBoots in the Repo are so much fun to add to your Memory Stick, if you have the space. And it's not too hard to make your own! I play a homemade eBoot of Road Rash and the original Diablo on a regular basis. And I can't imagine my own PSP without Symphony of the Night, Breath of Fire IV, and Ridge Racer Type 4.
I'm not much of a Sony fan, but I think the PSP library totally rules. You're sure to have a great time with it

if you're a JRPG fan like me, you can't go wrong with Persona 3 Portable, Tales of Eternia, Mana Khemia, Ys and Trails in the Sky/Zero/Azure.
There are also some really other RPGs too, like Fate Extra, Yu-Gi-Oh Tag Force, Phantasy Star Portable, Summon Night 5, Digimon World Re Digitize, Disgaea.
