Was it set up for heavy mind control? It probably failed at the time due to the effort at heavy mind control. Bring it back now, see if we get better results?

i like the original PSP myself. :)

The Vita is a very beautiful console, the worst thing about it was the marketing, it probably came out a little too late, it should been released around the same time as the 3DS with way more games and everything got ported off of it way too soon. Oh, and the stick drift was maddening in those 2000 editions.

Great games, though, a lot of them should have remained exclusive to keep the console as something worth having around. Here's my favorite games for the console. I really wanted to play Disgaea 3 on it but it just didn't work for some reason.

IV. Sword Art Online: Lost Song
III. Tales of Hearts R
II. Ys: Memories of Celceta
I. Tales of Innocence R

Sad thing about my list is that Celceta and SAO got ported too so there's only two exclusive games on this list and Hearts R I think is on the App Store, right? Or at least it was at some point.

Now the Vita was absolutely amazing for having a piracy console for PSP games and back, that's how I played Crisis Core as well as Shining Force Gaiden: Final Conflict on the Game Gear. I also played Pepsiman and Jumping Flash 2 on my Vita, too. Good times but it could have been so much more. Uncharted Golden Abyss desperately needs a port because stick drift even the slightest amount will kill that game.

I have a PS Vita and I still play with it from time to time, mostly for the exclusives and some fanmade ports, and truth be told, I really like the Vita! I even took it with me in a trip recently and had a lot of fun playing Star Wars: The Force Unleashed in my hotel room.

Not gonna lie, the homebrew scene really shines in this portable as well, we have homebrew ports of Streets of Rage Remake, AM2R, Sonic Mania, Super Mario 64, The World Ends With You Solo Remix and Final Fantasy Dimensions, and I'm so glad we have these ports because man, Final Fantasy Dimensions was AMAZING \o\

Also, one of my favorite Vita games is Gundam Breaker 3, because I'm a huge Gundam fan and the combat is really freaking fun xD

It was a very strong handheld console for its time so it could have had way better games than PSP but they mostly wasted it with visual novels and some random 2D indie games you can find on Steam lol.

I picked one up a few years ago, and I'm still impressed with its hardware. Despite being over 10 years old it still feels like a modern device, in a way that the 3DS doesn't quite anymore. That being said, it needed better marketing, better range of titles outside of the three genres it has a million of, and people still complain about its Memory Stick port to this day
