Profile Background Question

For the profile background, it seems like the only way for a custom one is through url. I've entered my link but whenever I try to save mine, it gives out this error. Am I doing something wrong?

Also is there any guide for what does what for the user style section?
Would be helpful if there is but if not then its fine, I can figure it out along the way.

I advise using https://postimages.org/ and then selecting “direct link” or “hotlink for forums”. Hope this helps!

I see, I checked it on my end and seems I directly uploaded it from my phone! Maybe try doing that if that’s an option for you?

I believe that one is for postbit section not profile, I've uploaded one for the postbit but it seems like its only url for the profile section.

Unfortunately in the Profile tab, there's no upload option for now...
Another option is to post your image in a thread or profile post, and then copy it's url there.

I wouldn't worry too much about it not working... That's about the most bugged of all the style section, unfortunately.

So basically what happened was that initially none of the styles would validate colors properly, allowing people to insert poorly formatted color codes and it would accept them.
That would cause the entire site layout to break.

And that was fixed.

However since this now works properly, it seems like the author of the styles add-on is using the same input field for both the background color and the background image url.

An url is not a valid color. So that's why we get the error now.
What they ought to do is have separate fields (options) for the color and the url.

I've reported this bug I hope they release an update soon.
I'll let you know if/when that happens.

It's just the same error, as far as I know. If the add-in gets updated we'll let everyone know.
