Well, if that is the mission of this site, an archival where everything goes and preservation is the main intent, then I'm fine with that. I was used to a lower frequency of higher-quality releases, so this seemed like a big change in paradigm to me.
Regardless, I appreciate this site and its maintainers quite a lot, don't think I'm posting to disparage you.

No one here promised that, altough it's not like we stopped sharing "quality" hacks and translations.
Between the last 90 games I shared:
Official releases (translated or not): 49 (54,44%)
Unliscended/Bootlegs: 17 (18,89%)
Hacks: 12 (13,33 %)
Homebrews: 8 (8,89%)
Prototypes: 4 (4,44%)
And that's just me. We have at least 3 more curators active sharing stuff, and they definitely doesn't focus on more parallel games as I do... so I think we definitely are not having a invasion of "garbo" games. We are having way more uploads in general actually.
Plus,
History and culture (not to say art) won't be treated here as if it were invalid because of its technical flaws or for not being officially released on the USA-Europe-Japan axis.
In Brazil I grew up having contact with these "pirate/bootleg" games together with the most famous ones, and many of them are still loved around here. I like searching about these parallel releases and they definitely deserve more recognition in environments like RGT.

I really appreciate you guys preserving these games. You're doing God's work. I love coming to the Repo and seeing all of the newly added games because half of the time, I discover a lot of games that I otherwise wouldn't have; be they hidden gems like "Burger Kitchen" or just a humorous bootleg like that Shrek "Yogi Bear" game. Not responding to you rudely, I think you presumed this. Nah, you bounce.Flappy Bird but with the Pringles head?
FR tho, thank you guys for what you do. I get a lot of enjoyment out of thumbing through whatever's been uploaded each day, even if I don't actually try anything that day.Not responding to you rudely, I think you presumed this. Actually, Tectoy itself has kept the Master System alive because the company has the Master System Patent and that is why the console is still manufactured in Brazil even today.you guys kept the Master System alive

I thought this site was more about quality games, translations and hacks, not shovelware
If the pretence of emulation is that it's about videogame preservation, then you gotta take the bad with the good. As it happens, this Pringles game is a fun little distraction and certainly not the most 'garbo' game on this site by a fair chalk.
I mean, like them or not, shovelware needs to be preserved for generations to come.No offense, but what's with the sudden influx of garbo games? I thought this site was more about quality games, translations and hacks, not shovelware
