For some reason I am not allowed to post in Discussions, I've done a few replies already to a few threads but I guess it's for a good reason. It's impolite to not introduce yourself.
So, Hello everyone. I've been emulating since mid 2000s when PS3/Xbox 360 was recently released and I still do to this day. Though eventually I lost my apetite on 8bit and 16bit consoles, as I've realized for me personally from 5th gen and onwards the free time you have to spend is worth more towards the better quality control libraries. So I ended up focusing a lot in PCSX2 and Duckstation to play PSX and PS2 titles. I'll eventually look into PS3 games however knowing the games released are with humongous sizes.
I am geeking out in tweaking emulators to scale perfectly with 1080p, like installing deinterlacing and widescreen patches, enabling hardware rendering, enabling retro achievements, adding library media, custom macros in gamepad and many more. I also own a softmodded PS2 with a modified ethernet adaptor to utilize the SATA SSD so in any case I find PS2 emulation inaccurate, I can always run the original using also a videogame upscaler.
I enjoy also rescuing neglected/old office pc's and repurpose them into general use or install batocera to make a bedroom emulation beast.
I really missed forums, I am so glad it's still a thing, although not as huge presence as it used to be still I feel like this place can be my home.
Looking forward to enjoy my stay ^^
