I don't know if this is an issue or not, but i thought it's worth discussing.

I think this is good for preservation purposes, but there are contexts where regular edit is useful.
General PC Game Recommendation Thread is a good example.

Is this rule going to persist? and if so, is there anyway to make exceptions?

Yeah, I figured it would be something along those lines and I understand the necessity. Thanks for making an exception for me @Spike

Is it fine to remove that restriction for articles? I’m somewhat dyslexic and there’s typos I tend to only notice a day after publication. One hour is too little.

Jusaiki and I have also come to a private agreement that I’d work as a proofreader/editor for him, and he requested I edit the Nintendo article for him as an example.

Another thread worth being an exception to the time-limit.
Maybe. I wasn't planning on keeping it super-up-to-date, more examples of sizes for space savings and i am still not sure if the time needed restoring them if it's worth it.

To me it is, but not sure about everyone else. Some people play via phone so they won't be able to run the batch file(s) to xdelta or unecm the games, so i can see it a problem if i had to post the full unmodified versions anyways.

*shrugs*

By the way, an interesting side effect of this time-limit, is the fact that you can double post without being auto-merged after the time-limit has passed. ::smashy

Auto-merge had 24hs limit, like if you posted after 24hs it would double post, idk if that's it or not.

I was able to increase editing time for articles and reviews to 7 days.
Posts is back to 1 hour.

Beware: There have been no replies in this thread for 90 days.
Keep that in mind when expecting a reply from the people on it,
You can also start a new thread instead. This is just a heads-up, bumping is allowed in this forum.
