Post what are some shows or cartoon that you watched and loved but nobody else seems to remember?

time squad.webp

Time Squad, a cartoon about a muscle-bound Time Cop from the far future and his gay android lover who adopt a hapless early 21th century History nerd orphan boy, he helps them as they travel through time to fix what once went wrong and becoming a family in the process.

Well if I post my obscure shows that no one else remembers but me, that means it’s no longer an obscure show that no one remembers but me, does it?
:loldog

You’ll have to excuse my smartass remark, it’s a result of me not being able to come up with one that hasn’t already been made non-obscure because of Jordan Fringe
Case in point:

so? post one anyway
and well speaking of obscure....who the hell is Jordan Fringe?

Edit: oh a Youtuber...sigh, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Maybe in the future todays young generation will make threads about obscure Youtubers only they seem to remember ::pikachu-sleep

YouTube channel that talks about really obscure shows, mainly kids shows. Some are well known as well

Also I remembered one that even Jordan Fringe didn’t get to yet

oh dammmnnn! i legit forgot all about this show! it was pretty decent ngl and i was a big avid Nicktoons watcher back during my kid/early-mid teen years
Post automatically merged:

I thought i was the only one that remembered Time Squad with the buff dude lookin like Captain Falcon low-key lol!

and speaking of old and super obscure cartoons from years ago, i'd remembered The Secret Show and Kappa Mikey being my all time favorites on Nicktoons.

There is this show I know for a FACT I watched when I was a kid. I don't know if it was local or somewhat national, but it is so obscure I haven't found any mentions anywhere on the internet.

It was a show that starred a grandmother and 3 or 4 differently colored puppets. The only ones I remember distinctively is the grumpy one (either red or purple) and a happy one (I forgot the design, but I believe he was yellow). The reason I remember it was because there was a section in the show that had a "Frutiger Aero" feel to it, that mainly described what happened in the episode and the lesson. Anytime someone mentions Aero, I immediately think of this show.

I don't know if my rotting brain is making shit up or if this was an actual show, but I swear this was real. it was so long ago, like in 2012 or 2013, when I watched it as a little kid.

i have this memory of a cartoon, it's an intro of a show about crocodiles, and the camera is flying by through them while they're in what looks like a river and showering in it, but i honestly can't remember the name of it at all

i even had friends help me try to hunt it down on the internet one night but everything we found just wasn't it

maybe for all i know it's not even a show itself but one of those random shorts that play on like cartoon network/nick/disney channel but i didn't have disney back then, and i'm very sure it was on cartoon network

it will forever remain a mystery

Gonna throw everyone for a loop with this one.
So, way back when I was a young'un with a modded PS1 (who didn't have one, lol), I got a game called Monkey Magic, a pretty good 2.5D action/puzzle platformer with quite some great sprite artwork, lots of voice clips, and animated cutscenes.

Back then, as I didn't knew english, plus the game was too difficult for dumb young me, I never got far into the game much, and eventually the game became a distant memory of sorts.

For a while now, I've been on a kick of replaying/retrying games from my childhood, to actually finish them and see if they held up to what I remember, and for this one here, I'd say it's quite close to being an hidden gem, but a few flaws keep it from being that good. (For one thing, the final boss is just stupid easy and not satisfying at all, meh)

Something that has always puzzled me about this game were the animated cutscenes, because they look like ripped straight out from a cartoon/anime, and in the game itself, characters and scenarios aren't fully/clearly explained, as if you're expected to already know characters and story. This would make you think this game's based on an actual cartoon/anime series, but, for the longest time, I only knew of this game...

...until recently, when telling about the game to a friend, I look up screenshots and such to share, and I find out: it IS based on a cartoon/anime of the same name!

To say I was surprised at finding this out, well, that would be an understatement, I solved this mystery I've always had with this game for so long, heh. All I had to do was a google search, dumbass me. xd

So yeah, wanna talk obscure, here's a show that even I didn't knew about until recently, lol. It's on youtube, if anyone wants to check it out.

Also, if anyone's wondering there, about the art there looking familiar, its because Susumu Matsushita did the artwork and character design, he's done a lot of works for a ton of games, mangas, and whatnot, like Motor Toon Grand Prix, or the Adventure Island series to name a few.
