Have this on order running a bit late but hopefully be Tuesday after a UK holiday. I learned how to play the Wii U version as i have it on my laptop
so im looking forward to playing this now.

I appreciate that this one added Empoleon and Darkrai, since Wii U never got the DLC for them after the arcade version updates. The team mode option is fun too.

Didn't play much of the DX version but sunk a lot of time in the Wii U version, mainly playing Machamp. It was a fun concept and it's a shame it didn't take off in popularity, it seemed like a no brainer of a concept, but it just didn't appeal to a lot of Pokemon fans and fighting game fans.

I think the issue is that it's a bit too unique with how it goes back and forth from being a 2d and 3d fighter, changing up how you control your character mid match. So you have to be up for not only 2d and 3d stuff, but switching back and forth between them. Makes the game feel more demanding and complicated than the average fighter.

Never even arrived might be lost in post luckily get money back under ebay guarantee been told to wait to the 10th to see if it turns up lol

I played this as the first game for my Switch and never again.

It was cool from what I remember but really disappointing for a first showcase of the system’s batch of games.

Gengar was cool asf tho

I'll be honest, when Pokken was announced I was like "I already got Pokémons in Smash Bros" haha!

But that's the brilliance of it. It awards aggression by unbalancing your foe. Guess it was just too big-brained for some people.

I didn't think of it that way, that's a good point. I like games that do something unique instead of following the standard genre molds, but I don't think I ever played Pokken enough to get a proper handle on it. And most people only want the standard genre molds.
