Between 2005 and 2008 Nintendo and Movistar (A telecommunications company) teamed up and organized a event named Moviplaya (The name is a combination of 'Movistar' and 'playa' which mean beach in spanish).
The events were settled at diferent beaches of Spain in diferent dates. You could receive Pokémon and objects in-game through Mystery Gift, Game Link cable or WiFi in various tents. Also you could play new Pokémon and Nintendo games for the GBA and DS before they release in Spain.
• In Moviplaya 2005 you could receive the Aurora Ticket for Fire Red & Leaf Green through Mystery Gift to go to the Birth Island and catch Deoxys. Also you could play the new Pokémon Emerald game (not released in Spain yet).
• in Moviplaya 2006 for the 10th Anniversary of Pokémon you could receive 10 different Pokémon (Lugia, Ho-Oh, Entei, Latios, Latias, Charizard, Articuno, Raikou, Suicune & a Pikachu with Light Ball) but you could receive only one Pokémon per cartridge. But in some beaches you could receive more Pokémon if more family members went with you. Also you could play the new games Brain Training, Big Brain Academy, Tetris DS, Trauma Center: Under the Knife, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Blue and Red Rescue Team and Pokémon Emerald (Altough it already came out in Spain).
• In Moviplaya 2007 you could get Mew in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red & Leaf Green. Also you could play the new games Pokémon Diamond & Pearl & Pokémon Ranger.
• In Moviplaya 2008 you could get a Darkrai in Pokémon Diamond & Pearl (Platinum was not released in Spain yet) and play Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time and Dark.
Also in 2009 Nintendo and Movistar teamed up again to organize a event without the name of Moviplaya for the FIFA 2009 Beach Football championship where you could receive a Regigigas for Diamond, Pearl & Platinum. Sadly there isn't too much information.
