Since the new PM game dropped, I decided that to give those who are interested in the game a thread to talk about it, so have fun.

I would have liked to buy it for someone who loves Pokemon, but it seems to be real time and not turn-based anymore (the person isn't good with real time and turning camera around); also the city setting (if there aren't more maps) for me feels less nice than the worlds in, for example, the 3ds titles or even Switch (Sword/Shield or Let's Go). Also, it's expensive!

To be honest with ya guysit doesn't looks extremely bad as anyone else told about it. Today standards had become so much exposure on critical care fellowship such for views and clicks. Look I don't say anything about can tell about can say opinions. Still I'm enjoying the game so far, sure the graphics may a lot be desired not super amazing or masterpiece type level. At least I give promps to make cartoony graphics unlike many devs trying make ultra realistic. Maybe because we are adapted on GTA or such? I dunnoi can't answer. But I believe this game is like had competition level Wich is understandable and short lifespan like let's go Pikachu and Eevee.

How is the game? I read you are only in one city. Do you still have to collect arena medals?
To me the night moments it reminded me a lot battle city arc Wich is probably taken inspired from what I see.

I ask the same question about every new 3D Pokemon games since the Pokemon anime: Is it very close to how the anime was? If not I will ignore this game too. lolol

Ok, what can you do in the game it's all about Pokemon battles or do you have to do other tasks?
well the taks are extremly easy to perform but some need the second required ability to partake the mission to succed. and some are bit hard because you find certain pokemon like shiny wich is 50/50

it tryed to replicate the anime aspect of it but it missed the loud shout "evade" option. but you can use protect move on most pokemon can evade. also i forgot to tell is XENOBLADE CHRONICLES INSPIRED MECHANIC.

That sounds like something completely different than what you are used to in the other Pokemon games but it sounds promising maybe we need something new instead of always the same. Thank you for your explanation buddy.

It shouldn't be hard for Nintendo to develop a Pokemon gamemap like GTA San Andreas (so it doesn't have to be really big but filled with 3 city and tons of villages and different bioms from forest to desert) + you find people to travel with + instead of just pokemon battles there are side quests as adventures to enjoy that is beyond fetch shit and pokemon battles + detailed camp system = Me dream Pokemon game. They implemented "meh" camp stuff but not the rest of what I wanted. Pokemon Black series had "1% closer to what I wanted as gamemap" and that's all about it SMH.

I reached rank D and I'm basically going after the

shark loans arc (yeah, those guys).

I hate that people are already spoilering heavy stuff that I never expected at all.

Like apparently E being Volo??? And here I thought he was Elisio but already like in his 50s or something for whatever reasons. Which would have been weird because this game shouldn't take place that much later compared to X/Y.

Also idk but it's since 2 days I stopped playing, felt a little of burn out, but the gameplay loop is always good. And thank god we can talk rationally about it here, for the good and bad parts. On socials the situation is insane.

Personally I wanted games to start being designed for long time fans

Something like the gamecube games, Idc about most open worlds but I'll take 3 dense areas like batman arkham city over a giant empty map any day

I dont expect mainline games to be made for me, they always want it to be for children; but I had some hope for the spin offs..

I watched a few videos of it and yes it looks interesting and the city is huge and you can experience a lot. The combat system looks a bit unusual but you understand it quickly.
