What do you guys think of the combat? it's clunky and slow to me, plus the enemies block alot, don't get me started on the chase sequences. but the story is pretty damn good
I'm on pc, can't rlly unlock FPS cause im playing on steam deckI still prefer the PS2 Yakuza 2's combat, but Yakuza 3 is fine. The PC version of the game introduces some quirks that weren't in the PS3 version due to the increase framerate (which affects things like severely reducing quickstep's distance and messing with mini-games' physics, like with pool and bowling), so I recommend playing at 30 fps if playing on PC.
Yeah, I'm getting the hang of it, I just wish the bosses wouldnt block so much, its even more irritating when they're ungrabbable. The combat gets better and youll be pulling wacky attacks by the end of the game. Its only slow at the beginning.
nevermind, coliseum gonna make me kill myself.Don't worry you'll get used to it. like the reply above said, the game starts out slow but its one of the best.. its one of those games where you miss it when you finish it![]()
nearly broke my goddamn controller.nevermind, coliseum gonna make me kill myself.
if it didnt take as long to get the groundpound upgrade and faster combo upgrade, it'd be solid tbh.Hard to explain, but I'd say it's the worst of the pre-2015 games. The combat "progression" feels slow and I definitely didn't enjoy the chase bits. That being said, it's still good, which is a credit to how great the Yakuza franchise is.

once I upgraded my combo speed, it became really easyYakuza 3 was my first, so for me its great!
but going backwards with zero and then later the remasters for 1 and 2, I can see where combat is clunky and progression is slow. I always wanna play the games, but have to remember to not play them back to back - or burn out happens.
