Pandemonium! What is it?

I just found this game and it look sick. But at the same time i feel how i'll have to suffer playing it. If anyone has played this game, can you tell how hard it is and how awkward to control character here, cause it look really uncomfortable. Still, i wanna try)

It's mostly fine if you are used to retro games, I would say its medium difficulty, harder than games like klonoa, but not as bad as rayman or skullmonkeys. Maybe the timing of the controls can feel a bit awkward at the beginning, but you get used to it. You can also look for a guide to find the extra hearts that make the experience much more doable, principally the later levels.

oh, it s sound reassuring, cause rayman already on my checklist. But somehow i feel like i ll curse this game same way i cursed crash bandicoot for not understanding the depth. idk hard to spot the difference between 2d and 3d platformer complexity.

man this used to be one of my favorite games as a kid
and still my favorite 2d platformer
its pretty hard, use the girl she can double jump which makes things alot easier
and try to find all the heart containers so you don't lose lives so fast
i can still remember the password from my progress from almost 30 years ago
its FBIKKKBM i got to the final boss with only two heart containers ?
there is also password cheats but it'll ruin the game for ya
haven't played much of Pandemonium 2 though, i like the first one better :)

It's a pretty great game, although deceitfully difficult. It doesn't quite hit you after maybe three levels. I definitely recommend playing it!

I enjoyed it. It didn't control too bad from what I remember. The difficulty does ramp up after a few stages.
