Do you miss any old sites, browser games, web services, etc?

Back when I was super into Yu-Gi-Oh, before the rules became an incomprehensible clusterfuck, I was active on Yu-Gi-Co, a forum for discussing the card game, tracking prices, and making custom cards. Very welcoming community that was sadly shut down.

Why are kids channel/network sites so boring?! There used to be all sorts of graphics, colors, effects with doing cool stuff and talking to other fans being at the forefront. Now they all look corporate. Negative Legend actually did a really good video on this.

I used to play a browser game called Tank Ball. You drove tanks around and shot each other. Very simple but very fun. Yes Tanki Online exists and it's better in some ways, especially customization of your tank, but it's also a freemium game that slows your progress if you spend less money. Tank Ball gave everyone the same capabilities so it came down to skill, and it was easy to hop into as you didn't even need an account. I couldn't find the game last time I tried to play, and I'm not even sure it would run now.

It still exist in the sense a Ghoul is still alive, nowadays is filled with crude games not out of place in an game's ad minigame... sigh, so much for the place i knew about There She Is!

VampireFreaks, DissidiaForums and XGen studios (still exists but in a vastly more limited capacity) are the main ones, though I also miss the old Phantombabies and Phantom Dusted forums that were for Devil May Cry and Phantom Dust, respectively. I also used to post a fuckton on the official Playstation forums back in the day so I'd add those and the old PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale forums I frequented.

Maid Marian hosted some sick 3d flash games, most of which were hangout / social games. I think the only one still alive is Sherwood Dungeon. Spent a ton of time on those games as a kid
The original Sherwood Dungeon, same. When it was only a browser game and you didn't have to download a client.

Grooveshark, it was my go-to music streaming website.
I remember when they shut down Grooveshark when I was in high school. I'm STILL salty about that!

Tired to find that game where you hang out on the moon. No such luck.
Y8 and Daily Games, both still exists but one doesn't feel the same and the other are just dangerous to go in
My Goto site was Agame
I miss both MindViz and VampireFreaks.
I was a child and poor around that time. Only really had consistent internet access in my teens, and even then my folks were strict and I sometimes had to do the cool stuff behind their backs. Before then I would use computers at friend's and family's houses. What were those sites like?
Man do I miss Friendster Multiply (please don’t look at me like that).
What was Friendster like? All I know about it is that it was an early social media site.

MindViz was great if you wanted to chat with tweens/teens, but there was no shortage of drama... And some of the stuff asked on its partner site was really disturbing.

VampireFreaks was really cool, but also extraordinarily toxic. And the site has had at least a couple of real-life killers as members.

Oh dear. Reminds me of when I played Elsword, though I'm not aware of any actual killers on there, just a lot of awkward teenagers and erping/dating.

I used to play a lot of the arcade on the old SRK forums, while I was at work.
Also missed: isketch, and the old AOL video games lounge

I used to frequent a flash game site called sugartoast.com a lot as a kid. It mostly just hosted games available elsewhere, but it did have a FEW unique games, like a series where you played as a lawnmower and had to cut grass in increasingly absurd scenarios.
Because of how obscure the site was, I have no idea if any of the original games are archived on Flashpoint or not...

OMGPOP and Whirled... I spent so much time being like 12 years old onwards playing on these sites! OMGPOP was really cool party game site where you played like Mario Kart Battles and Pool and Draw my Thing (It's best known for Draw my Thing)

Whirled was basically like Tower Unite but 2D flash. You could even make games with avatars and put them on Whirled it was VERY cool, Spent too much time on there! Last time I was on Whirled was when I was in my first year of Community College and by that point it was dying out til it actually died due to it not having the bills paid. :C
