That's a slippery slope I'd advice against going in.
Endocrinology is a slippery slope? I was only saying that in reference to your argument that the frog thing doesn't mean anything for humans, don't care to get into any other conversation here, whatever you think I'm getting at.

Are you all saying we cannot talk about Angela Merkel? Say her name?

Demon Slayer anime >>>>>>> manga.

Any popular manga/anime/media becomes overrated when they are popular. But then again people are using the term "overrated" a bit too often when they're expressing their opinion.
I just don't get the appeal it gets, I'm not saying it's a bad anime or something, but maybe it's more popular than it should be, like Dragon Ball or One Piece.

Frankly I don’t get the appeal of mint ice cream

It is a risky debate but some people would ask to not "objectify" people (even if they're being paid) and/or not slutshame workers.

On the other hand I'd hope that this doesn't imply that if a woman sleeps around it's bad while a guy doing the same thing is good.
I said prostitute not whore, but I don't like whores no matter who it is

I know where that pic is from lol.

Aren't both words being used in a similar context?

Anyway, I'd prefer not going too much into it because sadly even today there's a latent sexism about women having some implicit instructions to stay "pure" until marriage (despite that biologically there's actually nothing as some could lose the what-you-know with sport and athletics) and other things like that key and lock analogy that sounds antiquated and fallacious.

In fact with that same logic a man sleeping around could also mean he would have less fidelity.

I cant use my fav swear on this I learned it yesterday, so that will have to do

The way I mean it is prostitute can only mean one thing while whore can be used as an alternative way to say slut

Idc about whats sexist, I hate it, I like people forming connections rather than seeing the other sex as disposable
There's no love in it, no building a family

The before marriage thing applies to men too btw cause if you believe it you're a very strict christian or something (must be an anglo thing cause Ive never heard it here)

No really, mint ice cream tastes SO bad

Don't you think that could be true to an extent? Having a ton of sex partners, even when single, making it more likely (not obligatory, just more likely) that you'd cheat even if you get married etc? Supposedly there are studies that show that the ability to pair bond goes down the more partners you have. I've never really looked into it, but it's interesting. Personally the couples I respect the most are those people who've been together since high school or college. Obviously a lot of people didn't have the option, but I think it's the ideal scenario, pretty much. The idea that you need to "explore" and "have fun" (ie sleep around) when you're young is popular these days, but I'm not convinced that model actually works. I think it's more likely to form bad habits that mess up your chances at a real relationship down the line than to actually do any good.

I see.

I get that. Then again some people kinda throw that word too often, even if she dares having lighter clothes.

I do agree that today it's harder to form connections as people are scared of making bad encounters (you can never know a man's true intents until you get closer).

As for disposability maybe some people are sleeping only for recreational purposes (or out of desperation) rather than anything else. It's uncommon but species doing that for recreation can be seen in nature as well.

However I could argue that some could have love without the intent of building a family. I think that peer pressure to have a child is not a good idea.

Maybe strict people but then again I'd argue that the "first time" is not that important. Someone could even have a mediocre or bad first time while still having a lover and a family. Some people think that if you're not the her first one then you'll be worth less or being "too late" as if it was a race.

This could be a factor but in the same way that correlation isn't causality and that studies don't systematically define an axiom. That's why some studies could get debunked or proven to be wrong after a while. Remember that we used to think there were Alpha wolves until it was finally proven it wasn't the case.

High School love becoming a future husband/wife is cute on paper but in the meantime having a relationship in college/uni doesn't mean they will get married as they may have differing ways after.

I'd argue that there's no harm "having fun" around as long as there's no unwanted pregnancies nor STD transmission and as long as every parties involved are major and consenting. We are in the XXIst Century, the idea of keeping women chaste until marriage is from an era where contraception methods were less reliable (if not inexistant).

Bad habits like drugs or alcoholism are harmful I agree and maybe some people are sleeping around because they were left alone when they were younger but I think that porn addiction is more of the actual issue than sleeping with people and it won't necessarily prevent a real relationship to happen.

There are also quite many divorces among the previous generations of people.

Doesnt make me dislike it any less

Sure some people are happier without one but those are exceptions, and I dont think anyone should be forced

Never seen more slutty clothing in my life than in the last 10 years, idk what happened to girls but I pity todays young men. Its unpleasant when preteens especially, how tf did their father allow them to go out like this
