Generally it's one of those things you had to be there for to understand. It was really the combination of their bland, generic radio friendly music aping other bands at the time with their insufferable personalities and attitude. Plus as a Canadian, their music came on the radio constantly when they were popular and eventually it got annoying. I still hear that 'couldn't make it as a blind man' song fairly regularly on rock radio stations.

Reminds me of Guns and Roses. Playsnin the radio so much that i just hate them now. I can see the point
