I'm glad to be here. I'm Hei, from Brazil.
I'm a Visual Novel, JRPG and horror enthusiast. My taste for retro games began with PC-98 and PS2 Visual Novels, which I use as reference for my own games - recently we released One's Own Exile for free on Steam, a game highly based on Retro and RPG Maker games. Some of my favorite games are Shadow of the Colossus and the Princess Maker franchise.
Until recently, I used to play videogames only as a hobby. However, I study Asian literature and languages, and translate for a living. I'm deeply moved by the Abandonware cause and volunteering translation - it pains me to think that texts and games that don't have market value will soon be forgotten, and some aren't available in English or any other languages, which turns them inaccessible for most people. So I wish to turn my love for games and my work with translation into a service for the community and offer fantranslations.
