I just started this YouTube channel as a way to try out all of the games on my retro device. I also want to research as I go and provide descriptions of the games and their impact.

I’ll try to create a new video whenever I can, but I want it to be something fun..so I’ll do it in my own time. I used the same picture from my avatar for now.

Feel free to subscribe if this interests you at all. I’m not an expert at gaming or anything, I’ve just enjoyed learning more about these old games since getting this device.

(Sorry if this isn’t the right place to post this, I tried to find the most relevant thread)

I bought one of these devices a couple of years ago from Amazon and it came with a controller for 2 player games and an A/V cable to enable you to connect it to a TV. If you were to connect yours to a TV, position your camera or phone so that you could record all the resulting footage in landscape mode from said TV. you'd be able to create still, cleaner, longer videos.

Just a thought...

Oh, yes, and talk about the game you're playing.

Thanks for the ideas. I may consider that. I was just doing it this way for now to be able to record more often without much editing, planning, etc. If I'm not careful, I'll already take the fun out of it because of how I am. I look too much at the numbers and views. I think there is a way to schedule videos, so that may be better to take pressure off of myself, and maybe I can create better videos in the long run.

So far, I have been through five games on my Chinese handheld. I don’t know why I get at least one downvote on each. Haters gonna hate I guess haha.

I’m just trying to highlight old games and preserve their legacy. I want to talk about the creators and the impacts different games had. So far, I’ve stuck to shorts and putting all of the info in the descriptions.

Feel free to subscribe if you want.

The next games on the list are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Contra, Kage, and more. I’m slowly going through all 400. ?
