NetherSX2-classic​

These scripts create a modified copy of AetherSX2 3668 with the NetherSX2 anti-tampering hack applied

It's based on NetherSX2, originally created by Anon and EZOnTheEyes, and generated by a script created by Arjoe

They aim to do the following:

• Fix the RetroAchievements Notifications
• Expose more Global settings in the App Settings to the user
• Update the GameDB, Controller Support, and the Widescreen and No-Interlace Patches
• Add additional AetherSX2/NetherSX2 spesific fixes to the GameDB
• Resign the APK to prevent Google Play Store Auto-Update from installing 3064 over it

Prerequisites​

• Windows Vista or higher
• The Java(TM) SE Development Kit

The rest comes prepackaged for your convenience

Considering that it's been over a year since AetherSX2 got delisted from the Google Play Store and it's site was taken down, I'm going to attempt releasing an apk of the latest build. I doubt anyone will come along and try to enforce the license at this point, but if trouble arises from this, I will revert to the old methods

Huge thanks to Retroid for sending me a Retroid Pocket 5! It makes testing changes to EtherealSX2 and NetherSX2 a lot easier!

Changelog:

• This version should block the Play Store from installing 3064 over it
• Bumped the internal version to enable Hardcore RetroAchievements support
• Rebuilt the GameDB - based on the original 3668 with a few select fixes from NetherSX2-patch ported over
• Updated the ControllerDB, Widescreen and No-Interlacing patches to their latest versions
• Ported the majority of custom features from 4248 to 3668. More are in the works

This is an alpha release, so please test your games on it and give me feedback so I can add specific game fixes where possible

I was just talking about NetherSX2 and I see this banger showing up. That makes me happy, thanks the NetherSX2 team for keeping it alive. Can't say the same for Aethersx2...

Already have AetherSX2 on your device? No problem. You can easily transform it into the ad-free NetherSX2 using tools like UniPatcher, YADP, or Delta Patcher. Find detailed instructions in the official post on GitHub.
