SNES NES + SNES Game Suggestions?

There's a fan-translated SNES game that I am destined to enjoy that probably needs more love called Arabian Nights

Sabaku no Seirei Ou

I'm not sure what it is about this game, but every time I set up a new hacked console or emulator and go through my ROMs to make sure everything is okay, something about this game compels me to keep playing. I always end up ignoring the urge. But very few games give me this feeling

I hope that it's not unfounded, but I have a feeling this game is special, so figured I'd mention it, especially since this thread is pretty old and you may have moved on, or have cravings for other things, so if this game is as good as the intro leads me to believe, it might be a nice treat to go back to. It's only a matter of time before I dig in

Hi everyone, how's it going? I'm a massive SNES veteran that has been playing a lot of games regularly since the 90s and never really stopped for long. I've played over 300 games on the system.

I'll post my full list of SNES games that I recommend later, but for now I wanna post a list of games that othere here have mentioned that I also recommend. I also think that all of the games that I'm recommending have a good soundtrack.

Just so you know, I try to keep things like nostalgia away from what I personally recommend as much as I can, and give people what I think actually holds up.

The titles that I've bolded are titles that VERY HIGHLY recommend:

Super Metroid

Zombies Ate My Neighbors
Clock Tower
Lufia 2(The rare japanese rpg starring adults that actually feel like adults.)
Super Mario World

Star Fox
F-Zero
Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2
Super Castlevania 4

Contra 3
Final Fantasy 4(and then play FF4 Ultima)
Final Fantasy 6
Earthbound(and then play my favorite fangame, Jonbound.)
Pocky and Rocky on SNES
Super Mario Kart
Zelda LTTP
Actraiser
Soulblazer
Illusion Of Gaia(Seriously, play this RPG! You're missing out!)
Chrono Trigger
Secret of Mana
(I highly recommend avoiding Secret Of Mana 2/Seiken Densetsu 3)
Secret of Evermore
Brain Lord
Hameln no Violin Hiki
GS Mikami
Kirby Super Star
Turtles In Time(My favorite beat em up!)

Rocky Rodent

And I'm not as big on the NES, but I do wanna recommend these as well:

Legend Of Zelda 1 and 2
Super Mario Bros 1-2-3
Castlevania 1 and 3(Maybe check out 2 if you want an interesting curiousity.)
Kirby's Adventure
Little Nemo(Warning: It's hard and janky!)
Contra

Castlevania 1 and 3(Maybe check out 2 if you want an interesting curiousity.)
For anyone curious about Simon's Quest, but can't handle the jank and broken translations, I think it's not only been re-translated, but there are one or two fan-made remakes for it as well.. So there's a few options to experience a better version of it lol

SNES

UN Squadron
Super Punch-Out
TMNT: Turtles in Time
Actraiser
Wild Guns
Donkey Kong Country 1 & 2
Extra Innings

NES

Bad News Baseball
Batman
Life Force
Little Nemo Dream Master
Shatterhand
Vice Project Doom
Star Tropics

Battle City on NES is all time classics which will always be super fun. There are also many amazing hacks, like 3-4 players support, increased difficulty, new stages, new powerups, etc.
