Just out of curiosity, dose anyone have their own neocities website?
I have mine but I'm very secretive about it given it's contents, and so while I'm reluctant, a part of me wants to explore other people's work while also sharing my own.. so yeah.. I'm just being shy about it..

my site is: [my name as it shows here].neocities.org
password is bunker..

I don't have a Neocities website, but I took a networking class once where we were doing different methods for web hosting and all of my test sites were totally Neocities inspired since there were no requirements on what the websites we were hosting had to be.
I still have the first one I threw together in like 30 seconds in HTML before class one day that I had set to auto play loud music so the poor guy who first connected to my website and forgot to turn off the auto play media thing in his browser was super embarrassed.
probably doesn't have to be said, but obviously this wasn't in second grade, I woulda never gotten away with this lol

That's a pretty good story, reminds me of this guy I knew who made a desktop app just because he was so bored at work.
When his shift ends it splashes an MSPaint dick drawing on his screen, one day his boss passed at just the right moment.

I started working on one at the end of last year. It’s been a bit neglected these past few months, and there’s a lot to fix — lots of images and texts to change, not to mention that I mixed English and Portuguese, plus a bunch of other things. But if you want to check it out, the link is in my about. I’d recommend keeping the page translator set to English — like I said, I mixed two languages, LOL. By the way, I’d also like to see yours, if you feel comfortable sharing it.

Sure thing, it's [my name as it shows here].neocities.org

It's nowhere near complete and I'm also planning to use it as a portfolio when applying it for work, so I'll need to trim down the edgy humor just a bit for that acceptability.

Also your site is pretty cool!
I like how your gallery has multiple devices taken into account.🤟

Here's mine: https://advil-lavs.neocities.org/
I've been developing it for a little over two years. It was supposed to look like an evolved version of a Geocities website. I usually just write what's happened that week, sometimes giving a review of the game I've played, rarely I review movies too, last time was was pretty recently actually. It's also a place where I'd display my projects and drawings but I haven't updated that part much. I also wanted to add trinkets and a music player with a few of my favourite songs but I couldn't make it work and I didn't have much motivation.
If you know of some cool stuff to put in my website or a music player that doesn't require me to learn javascript then let me know.
Also, here's a picture of it, just because:

I really like your site man!
It's got that vibe you only really get from early internet and one of the main reasons I got into neocities in the first place!

--‐-----------

On a side note, please excuse my site..
It's got JS running on the background and I've placed certain measures to ensure that AI or bot crawlers don't find or screenshot or link it to google..

So once you get to the main page, make sure to click somewhere, anywhere to let the site know you're not a bot. Otherwise inactivity will trigger the error message and you'll need to refresh the page again..

Because of this the site isn't compatible with LibreWolf, I haven't tested it out with other browsers just yet..

dose anyone have their own neocities website?
I don't but I do have my cool, radical, and awesome nekoweb site: https://dragonmals.nekoweb.org/

Close enough, is it? They're both self-hosted websites, and while it isn't neocities.... They're practically the same thing as each other, is it?

I do.
In fact, I actually have it listed in the about section of my profile.
You have mugen stuff too, cool!

As far as I'm concerned any and all self made websites are welcome.. my bad, I shouldn't have named the thread specifically Neocities..

Also, it's nice that you're on GBATemp, I don't have an account there but I've always found their homebrews and tools to be very usefull!

HEE HEE! yahoo! thank you for accepting my site to be apart of this cool thread of yours :D

and yep! that's the second XenForo forum that I've created an account for, years before the Terraria one. their homebrew tools are great, and some of the members there are quite awesome as well. though they do have a bit of an issue when it comes to modern Nintendo and whatnot.
