PS2 Need Some PS2 Game Recommendations

So, I have a Phat PS2 with a harddrive and FreeMCBoot installed on it. I've got a fair few GB left on the harddrive, but I have also ran out of decent games I've not tried before to shove on there. I've included a list of the games I've already got installed on it, but does anyone else have some interesting suggestions?

Obviously, I have played/own more games than the ones listed, but I'm hoping you beautiful people will have some recommendations of obscure shit I've never heard of before, let alone tried.

Jak and Daxter, I can't believe I was sleeping on this series personally. I know it's not some obscure gem or anything, just something I've played recently and couldn't believe I didn't until now.
But besides that, check out The Suffering and Gitaroo Man, I rarely see anyone talking about those games and they're both good franchises.

Unfortuantely, I own all 3 (not counting Daxter or Lost Frontiers) of the Jak & Daxter games and have played them to death. Easily some of my top 3D platformers of the era.

I can second the SUffering. Recently completed it on my HDD, and it was a really good time. Been thinking about trying out the sequel, though I had heard that it's not as good as the original.

Heard loads about Gitaroo Man, so I'll add that to the list of stuff to try out.

Actually obscure stuff:
The Nightmare of Druaga - a traditional roguelike (think Pokemon Mystery Dungeon or Shiren The Wanderer)

Chulip - a weird little... adventure game (?) about finding love by smooching just about every inhabitant of a small town

Magic Pengel - The Quest for Color - a charming little monster collecting JRPG with rock-paper-scissors combat where you make your own monsters, apparently has a Touhou cameo in it

Ring of Red - a part turn-based, part real-time mecha/military strategy game with simulation elements... there's a lot to this one, if you're only going to check out one of these, make it this one

"Atelier Iris 3", interesting job system, nice graphics, turn based battles
"Suikoden 5", turn based battles, LOTS of recruitable characters, big world to explore, maybe the encounter rate is a bit high
"Odin Sphere", if you haven't played it already on Vita and you cannot (or don't want to) try that better version, you may play it on ps2: beautiful graphics, beautiful story, beautiful music, 5 playable characs, I've 100%ed it on ps2, maybe a guide is needed to obtain all endings and all achievements.

I will deffo try out at least Stella Deus and Atelier Iris 3. I'm a fan of some of the newer Atelier games.

I'm gonna take a rain check on Suikoden because I'm literally still midway through the first game lol

RE: Odin Sphere, I'll deffo try out the vita version. I still use mine pretty religiously, so I'm always on the lookout for recs on that platform too.

I'd recommend Romancing SaGa over Unlimited SaGa. The ps2 remake of Romancing SaGa is one of the best rpgs on the system.
