My issues with Berserk Millennium Falcon (PS2)

So, just a few hours ago I played Berserk Millennium Falcon. Everything seems good during the tutorial, but when I have to fight the first boss, there's no UI on my screen, except the map. I think it will appears after I beat the boss, but after that it still don't appears on my screen. Well, after that I just continue to play the game. But since this game give you a lot of enemies at the first stage I ended up getting jumped and die, and I don't know that my HP is even low. I have search for hours but I found nothing, please help me man.
