Capcom just released a Marvel vs. Capcom Collection Update Video today. Here's what the announcement held:

X-Men vs Street Fighter
- Swap between Rom Versions 960910, 961004 and 961023

Marvel Vs Capcom 2
- Increase Internal Resolution by x2

Dedicated Offline Versus Mode now available across all titles!

Menu system button settings (set menu buttons to be held before activating, etc.)

Reset a game without having to back out to the main menu

New Artwork & Music

Resolution Option, Offline Versus, Menu Button Settings & game resets are being added to Fighting Collection 1 & 2

while I know that aren't arcade games but... I wish that X-Men Mutant Apocalypse and Marvel Super Heroes in War of the Gems get added to have the collection complete(Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 just needs a Switch port along with Switch 2, PS5 and Xbox Series upgrades)

I'm very happy that X-men vs Street Fighter will have its 961004 revision available - that is the same revision used to play the game on fightcade.

Since Juggernaut glitch was patched back in via an earlier update, this was the last major critique I had regarding the collection.

They didn't have to do any of this either, but I'm grateful regardless

Certainly a pleasant surprise. I had thought for sure that the updates had ended after the previous patch.

I bought a PS3 for the express purpose of a means to play Marvel 2 online a few years before the collection was announced, though I already owned the DC version for years before that. To say that the release of the collection made me excited would be an understatement, haha.

It makes me more hopeful than ever over the potential of a Marvel 4 in the near future.

Nice.
Will they also be fixing the audio issues of MvC2? That was my biggest complaint with the collection, as a lot of sound effects sound lower-quality or are outright different compared to the Arcade/DC version.
