It's like he's supposed to be an example of how diverse the (magnificent) sphere grid system is, but by the time you're able to utilize this on Kimahri, the rest have almost maxed out their respective areas and he's stuck feeling like a lesser version of usually Tidus, Aurom or Rikku. Then in the versions of the game with the Pro Sphere Grid he just becomes even less interesting (unless you REALLY like how he looks) because everyone is in the same spot as him, and that system is already kind of designed with repeat playthroughs in-mind, so unless you want to switch him out with a character you like less, he's more or less just a cool story character, even mechanics-wise. The Biran and Yenke fight still rocks as a setpiece though, and sucking 'em dry to learn a billion moves will of course always feel good. [/QUOTE]
