I haven't emulated the N64 in a billion years, and back then I always used Project64.
However, I've heard that it's generally a bad idea to use that emulator (malware claims or something?), so I was wondering which N64 emulator is the way to go in Current Year?

I'm not interested in RetroArch.

Thanks!
I'd rather have a single-system emulator, though. Do you know if there are any others that are of similar quality to this?
If not I'll probably get it anyway, I just prefer single-system emulators since I like having a dedicated .exe for a particular system. Makes it easier for me to organize for some reason.

There's also RMG, but it's just a GUI for Mupen64Plus.
Thanks!

I really like how this one looks. It's pretty uniform with PCSX2 and Duckstation too, and has a grid view with box art. Thanks alot fake!

i have changed Project64 with RMG from an year now, no problems encountered so far;
it is the one that also grants better image quality imo

I second everyone that declared RMG, its new UI makes it look like they learned about what we love about Duck/PCSX2, no longer required to download BIOS and best acurracy, also i heard some Project64 new version has a serious malware, so you may to make the swap with either RMG or Ares ASAP
