Cool that you played the switch versio, question tho, is the Switch version better than the 3DS?
it's got all of the stuff from the 3ds with some extra stuff. i found this list over on reddit:
  • New features like Makeup and Wigs are added for much more in depth customization for Miis. You should tried it out; it’s severely overpowered and you can use it to turn ANY character (even those that are impossible to make with the normal Mii Maker) into a Mii!
  • Outings and Outing Tickets are added in. Basically the Jolly Jaunt Tickets 2.0 except it allows the player take their Mii characters to places like chilling in a cafe, watching a movie, playing by the beach, etc. when they can bond with each other and increase their relationship.
  • The horse is added and is befriended early on in the game (after the player rescues all the Greenhorne townspeople’s faces and getting the Mayor’s Introduction). Just like Miis, the horse is even customization and you can bond with it to help out in battles and even ride it during levels.
  • New Inn / Map events are added, mostly involving with the horse.
  • Due to the lack of dual screen on the Nintendo Switch, the UI has been adapted to the Nintendo Switch screen.
  • Due to SpotPass not unavailable in the Switch and unlike in the 3DS where every roles involving the townspeople or other minor roles where they are automatically being casted by popular Miis by other players or default Miis by Nintendo if SpotPass is not activated, you are prompt to casting Miis to play these roles. There are even default Miis if you don’t feel like casting. The same applies to the major roles as well.
  • Because SpotPass is removed, as well as Mii Central, they’ll replaced by access keys. Also you need Nintendo Switch Online to download Miis from the access keys (I don’t why Nintendo included this, but it’s very stupid considered that Miitopia doesn’t even has many online features).
  • A new section called “Mii characters” is added in the title screen where you can manage Mii characters that are being used for the game. You can tweak them or give them makeup and wigs. Miis not casted in roles are used as background characters for certain Outings and as travelers for the Travelers’ Hub.
  • The daily Questionnaires are removed and is replaced by letters. For letters you’ll receive a message from a random NPC casted in the game and rewards you with Game Tickets or Outing Tickets.
  • When getting equipment, you can now choose to equip just only the stats that came with it. (Suitable if you don’t like certain equipment such as the macho clothes).
  • 11 new enemies are included.

I didn't really take any screenshots much of my playthrough on the switch version, due to playing with a controller lacking the "take a screenshot" button, but I did at least take a few screens and a recording of the ending shot of the entire party.

Well, the game does have an imp class, I mean, if it wasn't just the right fit for her, I don't know what, lol.
And yeah, I do also enjoy playing as Midna in HW, both imp and true form, and while the latter is indeed stupidly powerful, lol, I do like her imp form a lot more, ahah.
