Your most anticipated game is about to drop at midnight!

- What game is it? ::thinking

- Are you staying up to play? ::moogle-sleep

- Are you heading out to pick up a physical copy? ::alucard
Or pre-installing from home? ::badpc

For me, GTA VI, Deltarune and Death Stranding 2 will all be day one purchases. I'd prefer physical copies where possible, so I'll be hitting up a store or waiting for a home delivery.
Will probably book time off work for Death Stranding 2 as well, then stay up for as long as I can with headphones plugged in, some kind of meat snack by my side and maybe a glass or two of something strong. Probably rum or gin. ::winnie

Super Lesbian Animal RPG 2
Ooo the protag looks kinda similar to Ghoul Panic's pink protag

I can't add a pic of the Ghoul Panic protag because my phone is shit. :)

It's gotta be physical, how else am I gonna play Uno at the table with my friends?

I don't really know, Eiyuden Chronices was the last thing I got excited for, and it didn't really deliver. Maybe a proper Suikoden VI, the one that exists in my head? I'd go pick that up...maybe, I don't know, midnight is pretty late and I have work in the morning.

I haven't been excited for a game release since I heard about the Transylvania Adventures of Simon Quest, and before that it was the first time I heard about Megaman X Corrupted.

The next Elder Scrolls. I know they just put out the Oblivion Remaster. But i want Elder Scrolls 6! Ahem. That would be the first game i pick up on launch.

I started Simons Quest and fell through trick floors in the first dungeon and have yet to go back xD

Currently, there is no video game among the officially announced video games I'm waiting for. However, the only upcoming video game I see potential to be playable is Crimson Desert.

It seems to have a very fun gameplay so it can be a great game if they play their cards right but I really don't care to play it so even if it's as good as I think it is I would only buy it at %75 discount. After all, I have lots of video games to play and don't have much time to play games anymore. By the time it is the turn of playing Crimson Desert I'm sure they'll release a remaster and/or even a remake of it as believe me or not this is usually the case for me lol.

Not midnight, only there at 9.00 am when the shop opens so I can put my hands on my beloved pre-ordered physical copy :D (that's what I did when pre-ordering a few games at Gamestop, mostly for 3ds and Vita and Switch).

Last game I've pre-ordered is "No Man's Sky" for Switch, though I've only cleared main quest because that kind of game (resources management and crafting) is not for me. But it was awesome to see it on Switch - I've not played it anywhere else, so I was curious and not disappointed at all.

I don't tend to have that kind of high geared expectation for games. That said, speaking broadly, I'll surely get the Wilds expansion when it drops.

Rhythm Heaven Groove
Super Mario 64: Return To Yoshi's Island
Everything that Nomnomnami hasn't made or finished yet

Yes

I don't buy physical copies in a long, long, long time. ::badpc

I think my last time was with Spore: Galactic Adventures Mario Kart and Smash Bros for the Wii U.

The last games I got crazy hyped for enough to do this were Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Mortal Kombat 9. I was at that age where I still got crazy excited for new games and they were a long awaited sequel and a return to form respectively of games I loved.

I still get excited for new games from time to time, I just have more patience to take my time nowadays. That being said, I'll probably be in a rush when Ninja Gaiden 4 drops.

I relate to this, not only because I like those two games, but that was a time where I was excited about videogames in general, in contrast to nowadays where I'm just excited about specific things.

Generally speaking, I tend to still buy Capcom's fighters at or around launch. Not much else, though.

I've switched to a digital library for the most part, unfortunately. I loved the instruction booklets and other goodies that came with physical, but newer games have moved more towards the GaaS model, which works against a disc-based format.
