I swear these guys had a flash cartoon on the fox kids website or something like that

That's actually how I remember it! It was a flash cartoon or maybe a flash game. The specific line that's been stuck in my head for years was Beatbox shouting "Make room for the boom!". I dunno why. Never played the actual game either. Young minds latch on to the weirdest things.

I never played the PS1 version but for some reason I gave it the opportunity to play the GBC version and it wasn't too bad for a isometric racing game like Micro Machines but with runners on foot although it is the majority (Like Sonic R) But it's just a matter of getting used to its gameplay system and controls that are similar to those of Micro Machines and graphically it wasn't bad and musically it wasn't bad but I feel that GBC's version could have been better.
