Memcard Pro 2 sync with PCSX2 card files?

WinSCP is apparently capable of doing automated FTP file transfers so it's possible, maybe even easy.

I'm super happy to hear about PCSX2 supporting .mc2 now. My file browser has built in FTP support so I usually just do it manually and that'll make it easier so I don't have to bother with conversions.

Sounds pretty cool. Even the onboard wifi would make it so much less of a hassle for me now that I don't have physical access to the modem on my network. I just bought a cheaper clone of what looks to be the same architecture (psxmemcard gen 2) of the originals. Might have to upgrade to the pro 2 if it's got wifi. Would make transferring a lot smoother.

I think this is what you want.

Maybe you meant to link a different video. That just shows how to move saves from original PS1 cards to the memcard pro 2.

I don't have much experience with FTP, but I expect this to be possible. The tricky part seems to be knowing which file is the old one, and which is the newest save. Maybe this can be done with timestamps, but I have no idea.

The BitFunx PsxMemCard Gen 2 is a ps2040 micro controller based device and does not have WiFi like the ESP32 used in the 8Bitmods MemCard Pro 2. As far as I've read, the only options to back up saves on the 8BitMods MemCard Pro 2 is to use Google Drive and FTP via WiFi or physically remove the SDcard and copy saves via a sd card reader conected to your pc or mac.
