This game has FM Sound. The original Japanese version can be played with FM Sound on an emulator.
There is a hack for regular controllers. Unfortunately that hack is also changing the sound and the FM sound is lost. I wonder if someone would be able to fix that?

Yep. Someone should upload the version with the dpad hack.
