I also replayed X8 just now but not WoC, but I suspect my replay will have similar opinions. Simply put, despite their flaws, i still feel I love these games. I don’t think they’re that good, but it takes a great degree of honesty to realize you can still love games that are messy. I can fully understand the hate for these games but… x8 really helped me mentally in the past few days. It restored a sense of happiness I felt I lost, it helped me close a chapter in my book.
