Rascal, Croc (also in Saturn), Spiro... some games like Medievil (which tried to be more hack and slash) and other adventure and long forgotten games like Excalibur 2555 AD (which was more like a Dungeon crawler game). PSX started to receive a lot of 3D games with 3D characters, some better than others. And I mean "with 3D characters", because Playstation already had 3D games in First Person view: the Jumping Flash platformers (almost an experiment games, during the first years), or the King's Field Action RPGs (which were, BY FAR, not very known by then as they are in fact now, thanks the late successful era of FromSoftware this last decade). I don't known If the original Tomb Raider game (an its sequels) can be considered part of those "3D games with 3D characters", not only because Tomb Raider 1 was ORIGINALLY started as a Saturn game project (and in fact, it was indeed released before in Saturn), but also because had a very very convoluted system of jumps, an very complex to execute... for a 3D platformer: It seemed almost a "tactical platformer": every important jump was a tactical strategy. Anyways, Medievil is a great game for PSX, and was very promoted in the european media. [/QUOTE]
