It's been looking good, I'm down with it. It's from the same people who made the great Shredder's Revenge so it's going to be at least as good as that I imagine. I'm glad to see people making smaller games with the license personally, and an actually good retro style broader Marvel universe beat 'em up like this is pretty rare.

Also, long hair 90s Nova gets an immediate thumbs up from me.

Swapping the characters in this game reminds me of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games except you don't have to wait until you lose a life to switch to another turtle. Love this era of Marvel in particular too. It's right up my alley.

Another Marvel game that Gambit doesn't exist me sad ::sadkirby . lol
save that for an all X-Men game. Oooooh they should make that game from X-Men 97!

I think it's cool that the characters look and animate similar to their Capcom counterparts. That caught me by surprise.

With that in mind, Gambit would look pretty cool.

GOD, that animation is so fluid!

The best era of Marvel, stylistically speaking. I'm all for it. One of the few upcoming releases I'm following.

Though I also wish Gambit was there. He was always my favorite X-Man. In fact it'd personally be my perfect game if they removed all the Marvel heroes and made it X-Men only. But that's nitpicking. The game looks great.

I played through a few levels, and I'm honestly having way more fun with this than I did Shredder's Revenge and Streets of Rage 4. I would also rate it over some Marvel based OpenBOR games I've played. The gameplay is fluid, the difficulty is just right, and I like that you're encouraged to use different characters in different levels.

This is the beat 'em up to "beat" right now LOL.

Nice, I'm probably going to pick it up sometime soon for sure. The OpenBOR infinity War is a pretty high bar to clear, if it's at least equal to that I'd be happy.

It's waaaaay better. In fact, this game is the answer to all of my frustrations with Infinity War

Oh they clearly took inspiration from the Marvel fighting games.

One thing I love, every character I have tried so far plays differently. Also, none of them suck unlike Infinity War where at least half of the roster is trash.

The level designs are really fun and so are the bosses

There's a reason why OpenBOR games are free and that really becomes apparent when you play something like Marvel Cosmic Invasion

Man, I love that 90s-era style

I did indeed purchase it, and yeah it's pretty damn good. I like the tag mechanic, it's simple but still pretty fun to figure some cool combinations out with if you get in there. So far I think She-Hulk has my favourite assists with her axe kick and grab since they do a lot of damage and last long enough for you to do basically do whatever while they're going off. So far I'd say my top 5 characters are Shulk, Phoenix, Rocket, Iron Man and Beta Ray Bill.
Would definitely recommend the game.

Already have it in my collection, great game and it is indeed better than Shredder's Revenge.

It feels a bit more strategic than typical games of this genre. I like that

So I got a little farther in the game since my last post and my enthusiasm has gone down tremendously. The game is really fun for the first few levels, but quickly starts getting annoying in a lot of ways. It is starting to feel like a slog to get through now. I talked a bit more about this in the other thread about this game and modern beat 'em ups in general.

Liked it. Played and beat. Was fun with 3 other people.
Though being that bug fucker is a pain in the Fantastic Four's asses, I'm a bit surprised they're not in it.

So when I saw the hit counter, I got the 200 hit achievement, I thought "How far does the fucker go? Time to juggle some bitches..."

Still kept going. I'm like alright then, fly bitch.

Ok, fuck it, I'm getting bored. Guess no hidden achievement for hits above 1000...

Rumors say that there's going to be some DLC's for this game... I agree with those opinions because there is a very generous space on both sides at the character selection screen, Marvel Tokon game is at its latest development steps and MCU's next horde of movies and series has just started with "Fantastic Four First Steps"... Maybe your desires of more playable characters will come true... Or maybe it's going to be costumes and palette color addings... Maybe both... I'd personally like more game modes to make the game more varied and less repetitive...
But remembering about what happened in the turtles game, possible new DLC's doesn't look like they're gonna be free...
