Mario Party 1 originally did not have a spanish translation, so this patch adds a spanish translation to the european version by PacoChan

It is a good translation in Spanish but the author unintentionally chose the PAL version instead of NTSC because the PAL version (Europe and Oceania) is 50Hz (25 FPS) and NTSC (Japan and USA) is 60Hz (30 FPS).

I think it was intentional since the author of the patch is Spanish and some Spanish people love to play in 50Hz😅 (nostalgia maybe? which I find horrible).

Yes, a shame my friend, and also that all the Mario Party games that officially came out on both the N64 (2 & 3) and GameCube (4, 5, 6 & 7) that had the Spanish language are exclusive to the PAL version, although the gamecube games can be forced to PAL60 by means of cheats through Gecko or AR, while the N64 games are impossible to force to PAL60 because there is none N64 game that supports PAL60 and There are no cheats for that, But it is not known if the Mario Party on the Wii (8 and 9) support PAL60 because I have not played them, I only played the N64 and GC ones.

Yeah a pity that the n64 trilogy only stayed at 50Hz😅, at least the GC ones can be forced to 60Hz
As for MP8 and MP9 only the latter had 60Hz support since MP8 was originally developed for the GC.

Understood friend The Mario Party 8 and 9 make sense.
