Manga Mangas you like that are in a limbo

Most of the mangas already mentioned in this thread ?

I hear tell that Prison School, a manga which I was mildly-invested in about ten years ago (I watched, of all things, the live-action drama adaptation of it), abruptly ended in the middle of the series and the author never made anything again. He must have been caught doing something unsavoury. It's a shame, because I liked the characters a lot and wanted to see how a story like that could possibly "end", but it'll never happen, now.

I have a theory that the Japanese don't really put as much importance on strong conclusions as we do. Maybe concrete endings conflict with mono no aware or something.

That's probably true, but I like my conclusions neatly sorted, boxed and labeled, thank you very much LOL.

While I don't need or want it to "end" the series story, I would like closure on the Dragon ball Super manga, although with Toriyama passing they might just leave it on the Freiza Black cliffhanger.

prison school had one of my favorite endings in anything ever but i can see why people dont like it. i wouldnt call it an abrupt ending in the middle of the series though because it just came off the back of an overly drawn out arc, i think you mightve just heard people disatisfied with the fact that it only focuses on closing off the character arcs of the protagoinst and his love triangle. most of the hate was mostly because it wasnt a happy endnig but it shouldnt have been i mean kiyoshis relationship with chiyo was built off of lies to begin with and he is largely at fault for being so wishy washy constantly giving into the deviancy (hana) instead of being faithful to normalcy (chiyo). ultimately that indecisiveness nets him neither kind of like bad karma but the whole execution of it was so perfect with the same touch of absurdity the series is known for while still being grounded, it was practically an ironic-humor-tragedy. it kind of reminds me of the themes in aku no hana

Shiori Experience
The fan transition still in process on vol 17 and lacking behind by the Japanese version which did published 2 Vols on last year.

My favourite one of all time
This manga unironically changed my life, I randomly came across it one day during some of the most painful time of my entire life
Reading this manga made me realise how beautiful life can be and how much we as humans are capable of changing for the better and becoming stronger despite what fears and trauma we hold from the past
There's been some news that Inoue is FINALLY coming back to it but I couldn't hold my breath, the man is too busy coaching a basketball team and honestly I love that for him, that's what seems to be his true passion and love in life
But if you're thinking about reading anything, please read Real by Takehiko Inoue, this is truly a one of a kind masterpiece

Its limbo isn't so long as it's recent, but I bet the new will come out of it during my late 20s (I'm 22)
Nevertheless, I loved it. It's very sweet n' good like those tiramisus!

P.S. - The colors a lie. It's all in B&W. (If you find the saturation being too much, my bad. I'm new to coloring, that's why.)
