I've never played Patapon, but Locoroco is one of my favorite games of all-time.
Just pure joy and videogamey fun through and through. It's a shame the PS4 version makes me dizzy.

Both video game franchises are good and have their advantages and disadvantages and both have their own because LocoRoco is a platform but with logic elements while Patapon is a platform but with rhythm elements.

They are very different games.
I prefer Locoroco's proposal. But the Patapon games are also great.

I tried Loco Roco and I didn't like it: I don't know if I should try it again, maybe it was not the right time, or maybe it simply isn't for me.

I played "Patapon 3" and I enjoyed it, but I still remember a VERY frustrating part in a later chapter (I believe I never or rarely found a most frustrating section in a game). After that I tried the previous titles, but (maybe it's just me) I found the rhythm more difficult to follow, I don't know if there were improvements in the gameplay of the 3 comparing with 1 and 2 (of course I'm talking about psp titles, not the remake on Switch).

Loco Roco hands down. I am not talking about their gameplay, only because they are AS CUTE AS HELL :3
