I'm going to start watching the anime this evening, is the movie worth watching or can I just go with the anime?

I have both the movies + Series, sitting in my "Watch" Folder..
for awhile now, i been meaning to myself.

just never seem to have the time, tho i have always heard it's a really good series, and i would assume the movies are to.

might do that this weekend, if nothing come's up.

I asked it because the movie comes before the anime. According to Wiki, there are two movies. One I can't find, and the second titled Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade.

It's a really expressive anime in terms of the characters' visuals (in typical Studio Trigger fashion) and the wacky witch adventures they go on, with a continuity holding it together. That's the anime premise, if you feel like you want something more than that you're likely to not enjoy it as much.

Btw Sleeping Sucy is the best episode ever.

The movies are different canons than the anime. So you don't need to watch the movies unless you really want to.

Also, this right here is the best girl. Her name is Lotte and she is a precious muffin child.

The first movie, just named "Little Witch Academia", is basically a proof of concept whose success led to the tv series production. It's stand alone and unrelated to the tv series, it's basically an AU.
The second movie, Enchanted Parade, is a sequel to the TV series.

Little Witch Academia is very different to all of Trigger's productions: it's comedic, lighthearted and aimed towards a female audience.

Its pretty meh in terms of the anime. The first movie is really good
Yea, I kinda have same feeling. I don't know why, the TV has all the things that should be up my alley ;_; But I don't have a strong feeling about it... I would say it is worth a watch though, I did finish it and remember fun talking about it.

I do remember liking the movie a lot.
