This is a great idea. I generally always have a movie or tv show playing in the background while I play retro, unless I'm using the tv for ps2 etc. and I'm currently working through a huge collection of random movies. https://letterboxd.com/wokewendy/

Im at 4400 movies and im probably missing a few still but overall im watching 300-500 a year now with WFH and all that jazz. Loving it. Still have a HUGE backlog. hard to watch em with gaming and all that stuff lol

Very nice, that's a massive collection. I've got just over 1k on my plex that I'm getting through, probably at a similar rate to you ~2-3 movies a day I'd say.

Been a personal log more than anything since I found about the site nothing to it.
I kinda force to have thoughts about movies for my own sake than anything else since for me it is easy to just watch movie and have nothing to say.

I started out watching just about every Marvel movie because of Rivals at the start of year but did not log them all. Ultimately vanity for nobody but me really and I was more busy watching than logging it all.

I feel the same way about forcing thoughts about the movie, especially to share publicly. Early on I started just not caring and just writing about my overall experience rather than the movie itself and even more recently stopped forcing star ratings altogether.
